AFRIKA! AFRIKA!, the magical circus adventure from the continent of amazement, is currently the most successful show running in German-speaking Europe. André Heller’s sensual, quick, and energetic discovery of Africa fascinates audiences at all venues in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland and England. So far, over 2,5 million people have seen the show. Africa can be seen as a continent full of creativity; immeasurably rich in cultural tradition. With acts that are sometimes acrobatic and fast-paced, sometimes gracious and romantic, 100 artists from approximately 20 of Africa’s countries dazzle audiences. The 30 meter-tall Chapiteau, the tallest circus tent in Europe, has a capacity for approx. 2,000 guests. It is surrounded by a Moorish tented landscape covered in tapestries, which are grouped around the main tent and connected by a labyrinth of pathways. Venues in Paris, Barcelona, and other major European cities will follow soon.
